"The loss of someone or something always teaches us that what mattered, what we cherished, does not last forever. Sometimes it disappears so quickly that we only realize its importance after having lost it. In more specific cases, we allow our ego to take over; we let it become the master and judge of our feelings and emotions. Certainly, this feeling of being trapped by the idea that the thing or the person belongs to us, that it is acquired, leads us to believe that we have enough time to start or restart tomorrow. This feeling that we are superior, that we can succeed without the other. That we are in control of the situation until we realize that we have always been the lucky ones, not the masters of the moment. Time and moments truly teach us the importance of things and people we love or have loved and the luck we have to have them. Regrets teach us to cherish and recognize them in this life or the next. Would it not be better to focus on the present rather than trying to catch up with the past? Would it not be better to set aside our ego? Would it not be better to heal our traumas, to face our fears? Would it not be better to say to the other, 'I love you,' rather than spending our time being their competitor? Would it not be better to open ourselves to the world, to breathe, to exist in the moment rather than trying to control?"
We create unforgettable memories for you.
