The meaning of true love.

For many years, even centuries, so many scientists, so many researchers and specialists have attempted to attribute a definition or a specific meaning to a thing that is more than a word, but a concept. A conscious existence that has nonetheless always been one of the key pieces in human and social civilization.

​Love?

​(Psychology) An intense and pleasant feeling that incites beings to unite. Deep affection for someone or something. (Psychology) An affect felt, linked to the libido, that makes the subject strive toward an emotional object, which may be another person or a part of another person or object. Pleasure, interest, even obsession (positive connotation).

​We distinguish between:

​1- Friendly love

2- Parental love

3- Romantic love

​If we were to stick to only this definition, we would have been able to lift the veil on this mystery a long time ago—a mystery that has seen the birth of the world, transcended thousands of generations, and changed history. Its spiritual dimension gives it a quasi-divine power.

​Between Mystery and Misunderstanding

​According to certain common ideas, a true love can be defined as a deep feeling of affection, respect, and commitment toward someone. It is an authentic love that does not seek to possess or control the other, but seeks to elevate and support them.

​I would rather say that it is unique, that it seeks to control or possess in a benevolent way with the aim of protecting.

To say "protect" is also to say control and possession.

​Love does not have a specific meaning; it is vibration, and each vibration is different from one person to another. Sometimes intertwined with painful memories and traumas, it is indistinguishable.

​The meaning of a true love and its understanding is developed over a long period.
